No one understands the devastating toll that COVID-19 has taken on our communities more than nurses and health professionals. After two years of sacrificing their physical and mental well-being to care for an influx of COVID and other patients, they have reached their breaking point. Hospitals are overflowing, and there simply aren’t enough staff to provide quality care. Healthcare workers are mentally and physically exhausted, and can not sustain these types of working conditions as they are.

The easiest and quickest way to solve the immediate staffing shortage is to get as many people vaccinated and boosted as possible. The great majority of COVID patients in our hospital beds are unvaccinated. The vaccine is by far the most effective way to keep people out of the hospital and prevent death.
